G-Wohl Productions is managed and founded by Andrew Grathwohl, an avant-garde musician, composer, inventor, and engineer based out of the New York City area. Grathwohl is learned and influenced by the master composers/improvisers of new music of the 20th and 21st century, including Anthony Braxton, John Zorn, Karlheinz Stockhausen, and Richard D. James. He currently studies Recording Arts and Music Composition at the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University--Bloomington on a Music Faculty Award scholarship.

Grathwohl's compositions reflect his interests in language barriers, conventional wisdom, population trends, urban life, absurdist/dadaist philosophy, and libertarian politics. His musical interests are a hybrid of three main musical spectra: musical chance (aleatory), improvisation, and algorithmic/electronic composition.

As a producer/engineer, Grathwohl has worked on nearly 20 full-scale projects. He works with all musicians involved in presenting their art in the most lifelike and artistic way possible. He follows a strict engineering philosophy, by encouraging instantaneous tracking and room sound, and by discouraging overdubs and electronic musical enhancement.
